Compassion International is a Christian child development ministry dedicated to helping children in need around the world in response to the Great Commission.  Compassion was started in 1952 in response to the plight of orphans in Korea.  Compassion is:

·         Child focused

·         Committed to Integrity

Through a one-to-one sponsorship program ($38/month), Compassion projects address four critical areas of development – physical, spiritual, social, and educational – in over 20 developing countries (over 600,000 children).  Sponsors provide not only financial support, but encouragement and hope through letter writing and prayer.  Children have the opportunity to receive educational benefits, health care, social skills, and the message of Jesus Christ
